John lives in Bartlett, Illinois, and is actively involved in his community. He has been a member of the Bartlett Lions Club since 2006, currently serving as Chairman of the Lions Charity Golf Committee and as a Board Member. He has also held leadership positions within the Club, including President, Vice President, and Treasurer.
In addition to his Lions Club activities, John contributes his time and expertise as a Trustee of the Bartlett Police Pension Board and the Bartlett Public Library District. He previously volunteered as a team manager for the Bartlett Little League for five consecutive years and is an active member of the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce.
John and his wife, Suzanne, have four sons: Billy, TJ, Charlie, and Teddy. Suzanne is an attorney in Bartlett, and their boys are actively involved in school, chess clubs, and various sports throughout the Bartlett area.
